Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour shifts | Flexible start between 7:00am–12:00pm 

Position Overview 

Certified Red Seal Millwright role within a structured seafood processing facility. Responsible for mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repair, and plant support. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position requiring independent judgment and strong mechanical skill. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Install, repair, and maintain production and utility equipment 
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime 
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems efficiently
• Maintain ice machines, freezer systems, fish unloading systems, dock cranes, and cooled production areas 
• Weld and fabricate custom components as required 
• Support Operating Engineers with coordinated maintenance efforts 
• Perform and document routine equipment inspections 
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment 

Required Qualifications 

• Red Seal Millwright certification (BC Trade qualification) 
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience in industrial environment 
• Experience with pressure equipment, cooling systems, or refrigeration preferred
• Welding and fabrication experience strongly valued 
• Experience in food processing or manufacturing considered an asset
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with operations teams
