Role Overview 

High-impact role overseeing and estimating heavy civil construction projects from pre- construction through closeout. Focus areas include earthwork, demolition, underground utilities, and specialty contracting across public and private sector projects. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage all phases of heavy civil projects from bidding through closeout 
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive proposals 
• Review blueprints, specifications, and scope documents 
• Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, and vendors 
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and project progress 
• Conduct site visits to assess risks and ensure operational success 
• Build and maintain strong client relationships 

Required Qualifications 

• 5+ years heavy civil construction project management and estimating experience 
• Hands-on experience with earthwork, demolition, or underground utilities 
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications 
• Proficiency with estimating and project management software 
• Strong communication and organizational skills 

Preferred Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
