About the Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their Omaha, Nebraska team. This role is focused on managing and growing strategic customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and acting as the primary point of contact for major accounts. Local Omaha candidates are strongly preferred, but relocation may be considered. After onboarding and training, the role offers the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week.
Position Overview
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for strengthening partnerships with key customers, analyzing sales data, identifying new opportunities, and executing strategic account plans. This is a relationship-driven, consultative sales role requiring strong presentation skills, analytical ability, and a proactive approach.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between customer and internal teams
- Act as customer advocate while protecting company interests
- Analyze sales data to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Monitor and report on customer business trends and organizational changes
- Conduct annual on-site business reviews with key accounts
- Manage special pricing strategies to balance competitiveness and profitability
- Identify underperforming products and develop improvement strategies
- Drive revenue growth within assigned accounts
- Develop and execute strategic account plans
- Build long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders
- Use a consultative selling approach to recommend solutions
- Collaborate with product development to meet customer needs
- Travel as required, typically once per quarter or more based on business needs
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in key account management or sales
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Excel
- Ability to travel up to 35–40%
- Ability to interpret sales data and market trends
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
