The Role
Our client, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking an Information Management Specialist to join its Cleveland office. This role supports attorneys, case teams, and administrative staff by ensuring client and firm information is accurately tracked, stored, and managed. The position is well suited for a detail-oriented, service-driven professional looking to build or advance a career in a legal or professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate indexing of onsite files and containers in the firm’s information tracking system (iCompli or similar)
- Fulfill requests for containers, barcodes, and physical file transfers
- Oversee assigned information storage areas and ensure organization and compliance
- Process incoming and outgoing client files between offices and external parties
- Collect, review, and index physical information for transfer or destruction in accordance with firm standards
- Prepare reports and metrics related to office information management activities
- Assist with training initiatives and collaborate with colleagues to improve IM processes
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years of professional services or administrative experience
- Strong computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with staff at all levels
- Team-oriented, service-focused mindset
Must-Haves (Required to Submit)
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 2 years of professional services or administrative experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Salary requirement provided (not open or negotiable)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- No sponsorship required now or in the future
- Local to Cleveland, OH or able to commute (no relocation support for non-local candidates)
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
- Prior experience in information management, records management, or related office administration
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Familiarity with records tracking systems such as iCompli or similar platforms
