Position Overview 

Seeking a Domestic Freight Sales Executive to expand market presence in the Salinas produce region. This role focuses on new business development, relationship management, and selling refrigerated transportation solutions to produce shippers and distributors. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Generate new business within the produce shipping sector 
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts through regular engagement 
• Sell refrigerated freight and customized transportation solutions 
• Coordinate with dispatch and operations to ensure seamless execution 
• Track pipeline, activity, and performance metrics using internal systems
• Serve as the local representative within the Salinas Valley market 

Required Qualifications

• Local to Salinas, CA or surrounding area 
• Direct experience in cold or refrigerated produce shipping
• Strong book of business or proven ability to build produce/logistics clients 
• Previous success in domestic freight sales within refrigerated logistics
• Willingness to travel locally for outside sales activities
