The Role 

The firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience, ideally within insurance-related litigation. This role involves direct responsibility for matters from early analysis through trial and appeal. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Investigate and defend first- and third-party insurance claims
  • Handle personal injury, premises liability, coverage disputes, and bad faith matters 
  • Take and defend depositions 
  • Draft dispositive motions 
  • Attend court hearings in state and federal courts 
  • Conduct legal research and prepare written analysis 
  • Provide pre-litigation evaluations and client recommendations 
  • Manage matters through trial and appeal 

Required Qualifications 

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school 
  • Local Candidate’s only 
  • Active Colorado law license 
  • 3+ years of litigation experience 
  • Experience in insurance-related litigation preferred
  • Strong research and writing skills 
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload 
  • Comfortable using legal technology
