Schedule: Monday–Friday | Typical 7:30am–4:30pm | Occasional 6:00am starts 

Position Overview 

Hands-on leadership role within a seafood processing plant. Supports daily plant operations, works directly on the production floor, and steps into plant-level operational decision-making as needed. Designed for experienced seafood professionals ready for greater ownership. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support Plant Manager in overseeing daily plant operations 
  • Work directly on the production floor alongside teams 
  • Assist with daily plant setup and operational coordination 
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics including early truck unloading 
  • Maintain workflow efficiency across multiple product lines 
  • Uphold production standards and plant performance 
  • Step into leadership responsibilities and operational decisions as required 

Required Experience & Qualifications 

  • 5–10+ years of seafood processing or related fish processing experience 
  • Strong understanding of fish species and product lines 
  • Knowledge of vessels, gear, and seafood supply chain logistics 
  • Experience working within a production plant environment 
  • Prior supervisory or assistant management experience preferred 
  • Forklift certification required 
  • Basic computer proficiency 
  • Willingness to learn internal plant software 

Compensation & Growth 

Starting salary between $70,000 and $90,000 depending on experience. Structured salary progression available for long-term performers. Strong long-term growth potential within plant leadership.
